Updates

Philter One is a one-time purchase, with optional annual updates available for an additional fee. During your update term, you can install new versions of Philter One's software and its AI models.

What updates include

• Software updates: new versions of the software that runs on your Philter One, including fixes and improvements.
• AI model updates: new versions of the models Philter One uses to find personal information in your documents.

Software and AI model updates are available for as long as your annual updates last.

Security updates

Security updates are provided for the life of your Philter One, whether or not you have annual updates. You install them the same way as other updates.

Installing updates

Updates are not installed automatically. You decide when to install them, so an update never interrupts someone in the middle of reviewing a document.

1. Open your Philter One's home page

   From a computer in your office, open your Philter One in a web browser, the same way you do to add and review documents.

2. Check for updates

   On the home page, choose Check for updates. Philter One tells you whether an update is available.

3. Install the update

   If an update is available, follow the prompts to install it.

When your annual updates end

Your Philter One keeps working. It just won't be eligible to receive software and AI model updates. It still receives security updates.
